Margaret Clark Morgan Scholar to Discuss Coping, Mental Wellness – Jan. 28

tibebuThe Center for Literature and Medicine will host this year’s Margaret Clark Morgan Scholar Solome Tibebu for a lecture on coping and mental wellness, at 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 28, 2014, in the Alumni Heritage Room of Teachout-Price.

Tibebu, CEO of Cognific and former executive director of Anxiety in Teens, will present: “Connected Coping: Mental Wellness Through Connecting with Yourself and Others.”

Cognific is a clinically focused consulting firm for health and human service organizations, designed to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs and realize revenue.

Tibebu is a member of the Minnesota Psychological Association (MPA) Electronic Health Record Task Force, where she and her colleagues are facilitating the state’s providers with education, technology adoption resources, and expertise on behavioral health EHR usage in Minnesota. She is co-founder of the largest healthcare networking group in Minnesota, healthcare.mn, where 400 healthcare professionals, programmers, investors and entrepreneurs come together for healthcare innovation.

Prior to founding Cognific, Solome was Executive Director of Anxiety In Teens, the first behavioral health digital media company for youth and families.
