Kemper earns her first All-Conference award having played in all 26 games this season and started 19 as a guard/forward. She finished the season second on the team in scoring with a 7.7 points per game average while shooting 39.7 percent (73-of-184) from the field. She led the team in three-pointers made (45), attempts (113) and shooting percentage (39.8). Kemper recorded nine games this season in which she scored 10 or more points, including a career-high 17 points on three separate occasions. In addition, Kemper was third on the team in blocked shots with 12 and was fourth in assists at 34.
Against conference opponents, Kemper averaged a team-best 8.0 ppg. on 39.0 percent shooting overall (46-of-118) and 44.2 percent (34-of-77) from three-point range. She also added 21 assists, seven blocked shots and eight steals.
As a team, Hiram ended the 2012-13 season with a 9-17 overall record and qualified for the NCAC Tournament for the sixth straight year falling to eventual tournament champion DePauw (Ind.) University in the quarterfinals.
