Fireside Chat – Feb. 13

Every Wednesday during the 12-week, the Center for Integrated Entrepreneurship hosts Fireside Chats with local entrepreneurs.

At 7 p.m. at East Hall Forum, entrepreneurs will discuss their journeys – how they started their business, what they did right, what they did wrong and where they are going next.

Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 – Money from a Hole in the Ground!  with Nick Barron, founder, Hole Patch, LLC.

Nick Barron, a student at Case Western Reserve University has created an innovative solution – non-Newtonian fluid – for filling potholes. The potential of the invention has earned Barron and his partners more than $40,000 to pursue the idea.  The company is now in the late stages of prototyping, and anticipates opening for business by October 2013. He will discuss his journey from winning first place at the EEC ideaLabs2012 to winning an Innovation Fund award.
