Hiram College senior midfielder Ryan Greenhill (Solon) has been named this week’s North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
The Terriers posted a 1-0-1 record this past week with a 2-1 win against Saint (Pa.) Vincent College and a 1-1 double overtime tie against Ohio Wesleyan University.
Individually, Greenhill recorded a two assist and a goal scored in two games to finish the week with four points. He assisted on both goals scored in win against Saint Vincent and then scored Hiram’s only goal against OWU on a penalty kick. For the season, Greenhill has now scored three goals and three assists for nine points. His three goals puts him in a tie for second on the team and his three assists are tied for third most. In addition, Greenhill is third overall in total points.
The men’s soccer team will play a pair of road games this week beginning with a non-conference matchup against Case on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. Hiram will then travel to Springfield for a NCAC matchup against Wittenberg University on Saturday, Oct. 6 with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
