The Environmental Studies program has announced its first group of SEED Scholars, a group of students who will explore environmental issues throughout the academic year, thanks to support from the Margaret A. Cargill Foundation.
This year marks the launch of the Sustainability, Environment and Engaged Design Scholars program. This initiative is designed to nurture and challenge the next generation of environmental leaders and provide students with an opportunity to apply their Hiram education to real-world problems. The scholars will work closely with faculty mentor, Debbie Kasper, to advance and implement projects related to the sustainable renovation of Hiram’s TREE (Teaching, Research, and Environmental Engagement) House.
